Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Flickship. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement.
Your account
You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, notify us immediately at hello@flickship.app.
Community standards — zero tolerance
By creating an account you agree to these Terms of Service and our Community Standards. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. This includes but is not limited to:
- Harassment, threats, or intimidation of any kind
- Hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
- Sexual exploitation, non-consensual imagery, or content involving minors
- Spam, scams, or deceptive behaviour
- Sharing personal information of others without consent
We may remove content, suspend features, or permanently ban accounts that violate these standards, without prior notice.
Content moderation
Flickship provides in-app tools to report and block other users. When a report is submitted we are notified immediately. We review all reports and act on confirmed violations — including removing the content and suspending or banning the offending account — within 24 hours. Blocked users are removed from your feed instantly and cannot contact you.
Acceptable use
You additionally agree not to:
- Use Flickship for any unlawful purpose
- Post false or misleading content
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Reverse-engineer or tamper with the app
- Use automated tools to scrape or interact with the service
Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting it you grant Flickship a limited, non-exclusive licence to use it solely to operate the service.
Intellectual property
Flickship and its content are owned by us and protected by applicable law. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the service without prior written permission.
Third-party services
Flickship integrates with Letterboxd to import film ratings. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Letterboxd. Your use of Letterboxd is governed by their own terms.
Disclaimers
Flickship is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flickship shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from app settings.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Turkey. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Istanbul.
Changes
We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes via the app or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
